500g 5% beef mince

Cooking steps

Lazy Girl Gluten Free Lasagne Recipe

Step 1: Preheat oven

Preheat your oven to 200°C.

Step 2: Cook beef and onion

Brown 500g of 5% beef mince in a little fry light, then add ½ diced white onion and cook until soft.

Step 3: Add garlic

Add 2 teaspoons of lazy garlic (or more if you love it), stir well.

Step 4: Add tomato sauce and seasonings

Pour in 1 carton of tomato passata, 1 beef stock pot, 1 teaspoon sugar, salt, pepper, and oregano to taste. Let it simmer until thickened. Add Grana Padano here if using.

Step 5: Prepare lasagne sheets

Boil 6 gluten-free lasagne sheets for 8-10 minutes until soft. Stir frequently to prevent sticking.

Step 6: Layer the lasagne

  • Spread the meat mixture on the bottom of your baking dish.
  • Place 3 lasagne sheets over the meat.
  • Spread half of the gluten-free white lasagne sauce over the sheets.
  • Sprinkle some grated cheese (and Grana Padano if desired).
  • Repeat the layering: meat mixture, 3 sheets, remaining white sauce, and cheese.
  • Top with a blanket of grated cheese.

Step 7: Bake

Bake for 25 minutes until golden, bubbling, and crispy on top.

Serving suggestion

Serve with rocket salad or gluten-free garlic bread for an extra treat.
