- Mix 3 egg yolks with a pinch of salt and 120 g sugar.
- Add 150 g sour butter and 130 g cream to the mixture.
- Incorporate 400 g flour and a pinch of baking soda into the mix.
- Refrigerate the dough for 1 hour.
- Beat 3 egg whites with 150 g sugar until fluffy.
- Chop 250 g walnuts.
- Divide 80 g ghee into 8 equal parts.
- Grease a baking dish with one part of the ghee.
- Layer the dough and walnuts alternately, greasing each layer with melted butter.
- Mix 1 tsp milk with an egg yolk and brush over the top layer.
- Bake at 160°C (320°F) for 40-45 minutes.
- Prepare syrup by simmering 100 g sugar, 40 g honey, and 100 ml water for 5-7 minutes.
- Pour hot syrup over the baked cake.
- Bake again at 200°C (392°F) briefly.
- Cool the cake for 10 minutes before serving.
