  • Rinse 300g of brown rice in cold water until it runs clear.
  • Add the rice to a saucepan with 600ml of cold water and a pinch of salt.
  • Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to low, simmering for 25-28 minutes.
  • Once cooked, let it rest for 4 minutes with the lid on before fluffing with a fork.

  • Spray a large pan with oil and place over high heat.
  • Add 1kg of lean beef mince and break it apart with a spatula.
