Easy Baked Teriyaki Chicken Wings

Step 1: Prep and Season [00:05]

Add oil and soy sauce to a bowl of chicken wings and mix well to coat.

Step 2: Line the Baking Sheet [00:10]

Line a large baking sheet with non-stick aluminum foil.

Step 3: Bake the Wings [00:15]

Place the seasoned chicken wings on the prepared sheet and bake in an oven at 425°F for about 18 minutes.

Step 4: Make Teriyaki Sauce [00:21]

While the chicken is baking, prepare a sauce by heating soy sauce, sesame seed oil, rice vinegar, maple syrup, ginger, and garlic in a saucepan. Simmer, then thicken with a cornstarch slurry.

Step 5: Coat and Finish [00:33]

Generously brush the prepared teriyaki sauce all over the baked chicken wings. Return to the oven for a couple more minutes.

Step 6: Garnish and Serve [00:38]

Remove from the oven, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green scallions, and serve.
