- In a bowl, mix 3/4 cup melted butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup sugar, and 1 tablespoon cinnamon until combined.
- Line slow cooker with a liner for easy cleanup.
- Add 1/2 cup of the cinnamon sugar mixture to the slow cooker.
- Add 1 can of biscuits, spacing them without much overlap.
- Pour remaining cinnamon sugar mixture over biscuits.
- Optional: Sprinkle 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans on top.
- Cook on high for 1.5 to 1 hour 45 minutes until biscuits are cooked.
- Serve upside down and drizzle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
Classic Hash Brown Breakfast Casserole
- Cook half package bacon (or sausage/ham) in a pan.
- In a bowl, whisk 12 eggs, 1.5 cups heavy cream or half and half, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon pepper.
- Drain cooked bacon on paper towels.
- Spray slow cooker with non-stick spray.
- Add 30 oz bag of hash browns, 1 diced green bell pepper, and 1 diced white onion.
- Add cooked bacon and stir gently.
