Creamy Garlic-Lemon Chickpeas Recipe
Step 1: Prepare Ingredients
- Mince 3-4 shallots and 6 cloves of garlic.
- Zest and juice 1 lemon.
Step 2: Sauté Aromatics
- Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Add minced shallots and garlic, sauté until fragrant and translucent.
Step 3: Add Flavorings
- Stir in 1 tsp miso paste and 1-3 tbsp red pepper flakes according to your heat preference.
Step 4: Add Chickpeas and Liquids
- Add 2 cans (16oz each) of drained and rinsed chickpeas.
- Pour in 1 cup heavy cream and 1 cup chicken bone broth or vegetable broth.

- Add lemon zest and juice.
