Cooking steps

Crockpot Cheddar Bay Biscuit Chicken

Step 1

Add the chicken broth, heavy whipping cream, shredded cheddar, parmesan, minced garlic, paprika, pepper, and Old Bay to the crockpot. Mix well.

Step 2

Cube the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and add them to the crockpot, stirring to combine all ingredients.

Step 3

Prepare the biscuit dough by mixing the box of Cheddar Bay biscuit mix with 3/4 cup of cold water and 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. (Set aside the included garlic herb seasoning packet for later).

Step 4

Dollop the biscuit mixture evenly over the top of the chicken mixture in the crockpot.

Step 5

Lay paper towels over the top of the crockpot insert to absorb moisture, then place the lid on top, ensuring the towels are tucked in and not touching the outside of the crockpot shell. Cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 5-6 hours.

Step 6

Once finished, melt 1/4 cup of butter in the microwave and whisk in the garlic herb seasoning packet. Brush this mixture over the top of the cooked biscuits.
