Cooking steps

Easy No Bake Cookies

Step 1: Preparation [00:09]

Line two baking sheets with parchment paper and have your ingredients ready, as this recipe sets quickly.

Step 2: Combine base ingredients [00:22]

In a medium pot, combine 1 & 1/2 cups (300 grams) of granulated sugar, 1/4 cup (25 grams) of unsweetened cocoa powder, 1/2 cup (120 mL) of milk, and 1/2 cup (113 grams) of unsalted butter.

Step 3: Heat and boil [03:03]

Place the pot over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the butter melts. Once the mixture comes to a boil, stop stirring and set a timer for exactly 60 seconds to allow it to boil undisturbed.

Step 4: Mix in the rest of the ingredients [04:10]

Remove the pot from the heat and stir in 2 & 1/2 cups (250 grams) of quick oats, 3/4 cup (200 grams) of creamy peanut butter, and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract until well combined.

Step 5: Portion the cookies [04:52]

While the mixture is still warm, use a two-tablespoon sized scoop to drop mounds of the cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets.

Step 6: Cool and serve [06:08]

Allow the cookies to set at room temperature for about 20 minutes before serving.
