Mississippi Mud Pie

Step 1: Prepare the crust [00:07]

Crush about a dozen Oreos and some pecans in a food processor until fine. In a bowl, combine the crushed mixture with half of a soft block of cream cheese. Spread this mixture gently into the bottom of a 9-inch graham cracker pie shell.

Step 2: Make the chocolate layer [00:34]

In a larger bowl, whisk together the remaining half of the softened cream cheese with 1 cup of whole milk. Add a box of instant chocolate pudding and whisk until the mixture thickens and is free of lumps. Spread this chocolate layer over the prepared pie crust.

Step 3: Top and chill [00:50]

Top the pie with 1/2 tub of Cool Whip. Optionally, sprinkle with more chopped pecans and chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate for a couple of hours or overnight before serving.
