Cooking steps
Cajun Seafood Boil:
Step 1: Prepare the Holy Boil Seasoning
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine:
- 30 cups smoked paprika
- 3/4 cup old bay seasoning
- 3 tablespoons ground cayenne
- 2 tablespoons mustard powder
- 3 1/2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons fresh ground black pepper
- 1 tablespoon coriander seeds (lightly toasted and ground)
- 2 teaspoons dried thyme (crushed)
- Mix until thoroughly combined.
Step 2: Make the Spicy Cajun Butter
- In a medium-sized sauce pot, melt 1 pound of unsalted butter over medium heat.
- Add 12 cloves of peeled, crushed, and minced garlic. Cook for 2-3 minutes until soft.

- Add 15 whole red potatoes and cook for 10-15 minutes until almost cooked through.
Step 5: Add Seafood
- Add:

- 2 clusters of king crab legs
- 2 1/2 pounds of head-on shrimp
