Beef Tacos Preparation

Step 1: Sear the beef [00:07]

Heat a skillet and melt a piece of butter. Season the chuck roast with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and sear it on all sides in the skillet.

Step 2: Assemble ingredients in crockpot [00:13]

Transfer the seared beef into the crockpot. Add the sliced onion, green chilies, 2 packets of taco seasoning, minced garlic, and enough beef broth to cover the meat.

Step 3: Cook [00:20]

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until the beef is tender and easy to shred.

Step 4: Assemble and fry tacos [00:25]

Dip a tortilla into the beef cooking liquid, then place it in a skillet over medium heat. Add shredded cheese and some shredded beef to the tortilla. Fold it and fry until crispy and golden brown on both sides.
