Extra Crunchy Fried Chicken Tenders
Step 1: Marinade
In a bowl, combine garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, curry powder, black pepper, salt, MSG, white pepper, pepperoncini juice, hot sauce, chicken bouillon, and soy sauce. Mix well and toss the chicken tenders until they are thoroughly coated in the marinade.
Step 2: Prepare the Flour Dredge
In a separate bowl, prepare the flour dredge by combining all-purpose flour with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, a touch of curry powder, and both white and black pepper.
Step 3: Coat the Chicken
- Take the marinated chicken tenders and coat them thoroughly in the flour mixture.
- Dip the floured tenders into a bowl of water for 20 to 30 seconds.
- Remove the chicken from the water, shake off excess water, and place back into the flour mixture.
- Toss again in the flour mixture.
- Pick up the chicken and shake it vigorously to create ruffles and folds in the coating, which are essential for the extra crunch.
Step 4: Fry the Chicken
Heat oil and fry the coated tenders for about 4 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy.
